Real life | Emily's summer vacation: Oregon!

The second part of our trip consisted of a scenic train ride to Portland, and then a drive out to Young Life's Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon. We have dear friends who moved out there about 3 years ago. Jesse works for the camp and from the looks of it, they couldn't be happier living and working in this beautiful place, surrounded by God's glory!

This is the view from their home: INCREDIBLE!!
Sweet little Piper and Ezra playing by the river:)

This is Jesse's Scout that they use to drive around the camp.
Young Life camps are so incredible! "Camps are intentionally designed with resort-like facilities to offer kids a chance to get away from the pressures of their everyday lives, have fun with their friends and Young Life leaders, and experience the message of God's love in terms they can understand."

I went to a Young Life camp in High School and everything clicked for me. There's just something so special about it and Kevin and I support this ministry whole-heartedly!

We are very thankful for the opportunity to come out to Oregon and visit the Washkau family. We had a great time sharing stories, enjoying Jane's yummy cooking, and playing with the kiddos. Hopefully it won't be long before we can visit again:)
